Myoungjin (MJ) Son, PhD

Myoungjin (MJ) Son, PhD, serves as Precision Nutrition Scientist at Viome Life Sciences, where she applies her deep expertise in food science, nutritional physiology, and nutraceutical formulation to Viome's personalized nutrition platform.

With a PhD in Applied Life Science (Nutritional Physiology) from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, an MS in Food Science and Nutrition from Kyungpook National University, and over a decade of experience across research, formulation, and product development, she brings cross-cultural expertise spanning South Korea, Japan, Canada, and the US. Previously, she served as Project Manager and Formulation Scientist at Factors Group of Companies and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Alberta.
